Overview
Starting in 1937 from a single site in Sibiu, with the object of building and repairing bridges and railway lines for the Regional Railway Brasov, Concefa constitutes today the coagulant factor of a group of companies (Concefa, Tunele SA, Combeton , ALUGLASS, Transferoviaria, Sibavis) with over 1,600 employees, which operates throughout the country, in construction, real estate development, construction materials, transport, trade, achieving in 2007 a turnover of over 50 million EUR .
Since 1998, Concefa SA is a private company. In the last two years, by significant increases in share capital, it reached 18,868,442 lei, thus earning the company more credit market, while ensuring investment capacity needed for software development and technological modernization.

Activity fields:
Concefa SA focuses mainly on two important areas of the building construction industry: large and complex non-residential buildings and, equally, the execution of infrastructure (railways, roads, bridges, viaducts, consolidations, etc).
These activities are supported by a strong logistics industry to ensure the cars, construction equipments and specialized machinery.
Through other group companies, Concefa covers both specialized fields of underground construction (road and rail tunnels, galleries and underground stations, hydro galleries, Arch Sections by jacking pipes) and the products and services relating to the manufacture, transport and commissioning concrete, manufacture of concrete products for construction, gravel and sand, equipment, thermo-insulating joinery (REHAU profiles), organization of railway transport, the operator handles line industrial estate development.
